About

Cagedlight Limited is a non-location specific visual design company. Our focus is design. We know design, we know how to make your company look really good and we know how to reproduce those designs across various media.

We are a family run, limited company, founded by husband and wife team Kwesi and Samira Raphael. We really enjoy what we do and do it with a smile, having fun as we go.

Kwesi is the lead designer and Samira the studio manager who keeps everything organised. Kwesi and Samira met each other while studying together at Edinburgh College of Art.

Our passion is to utilise the world wide web, combined with our skills in the field of visual design, to meet the needs of you, our client, wherever you may be based.

We love what we do, and wouldn’t do anything else.

among other things, kwesi and samira, represent a mix of at least 5 different cultures!

kwesi is fluent in mandarin and somewhat conversant in korean and samira does not speak arabic, although her name suggests otherwise.

power of the visual image

do you understand the power of the visual image?

the ability colour can have to can have to communicate through our subconsious

the impact a photograph has on our mind and taste buds

colour, imagery, form, all communicate to our mind certain things.

what about generating interest for an upcoming event you are holding?
do you know how to use photography, colour, layout and graphics to communicate the best of the event: to call out to your potential guest that “this is the place they want to be at”, “this is the place worth the ticket price”, “this is the place they want to get out of their house, use public transport, and spend an evening of their time at”?

are you communicating the right message to your viewers?

what about your logo; your business; visual signature? does it use the right colours to speak to the subconscious and communicate in line with your companies outlook?

do you desire your business and your event to go well, to be attractive to people and to generate wealth and success?

make sure you are utalising the power of the visual image in your communications.

visual design is important.
